The charity raises funds and awareness for CRY, the Irish Rugby Charitable Trust, and the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation, in memory of Anthony Foley, former Munster and Ireland rugby player.
I worked closely with Orla Foley to support Orla’s Wild Ways across multiple areas, showing the versatility to adapt to whatever the charity most needs.
One of our first collaborations involved running social media competitions in partnership with Dolans, who kindly donated tickets. I created video content using Dolans’ assets, ensuring the posts respected their branding while promoting Orla’s cause.
I also managed the publishing, engagement, and winner selection, ensuring the campaign was professional and seamless from start to finish.
When Orla mentioned the need to attract sponsors, I suggested developing a full sponsorship proposal rather than relying solely on emails.
I then created the proposal from scratch - writing copy, designing layouts, and presenting Orla’s story in a compelling way alongside clear sponsorship packages.
To give the proposal the best chance of success, I built a tailored distribution list focused on Munster and Ireland Rugby sponsors.
Event support was another key part of my support. For a virtual cycling fundraiser, I worked with Orla to think through all the details, using creative problem-solving to make the event as smooth and engaging as possible.
Through all of this, my focus was on making Orla’s Wild Ways look professional, approachable, and well-prepared - no matter the scale of the project. Orla has described my support as “amazing, professional, and a godsend to have in the background,” adding that I am “creative, capable, intelligent, and always true to my word.”
